Core drilling barrels: Product features
Core drilling pipes are also called core drilling barrels or simply core barrels. EMDE produces those barrels for several application areas. The most important product features are listed in the following:
- The cutting edge is adapted accordingly to the geological layer to be drilled through. We supply the following variants to this end:
- Octagonal hardened metal rods
- Weld-on teeth
- Weld-on quick-change bar
- Point-attack cutting tools / deployed point-attack cutting tools (hardened metal version)
- Core drilling pipes are manufactured with a drilling diameter of up to 2,500 mm.
